  • "Brainstat" for Safety Transportation

UN figures say 5 years ago, the death rate on highways of the world reached 1 million people per year. And the more terrible for us, no less than 85% of them occur in developing countries. Indonesia itself to ‘waste’ 20 thousand lives per year on the highway, according to police data in 2009. Its increasing 34% in the end of 2011.

Unfortunately, in our country there has been no scientific study to assess the cause of each accident. As a result of effective prevention was difficult. Fortunately, some developed countries researching the cause of each accident and publish in the community.

The following is data from the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration), the United States government agency responsible for road safety. And this is the sixth leading cause of fatal accidents.

    1.    Physical Disability

Every 14 seconds, a car accident results in an injured victim (US statistic)

    2.    Death

    ·         9 out of 10 deaths resulting from transport accident in 2009 by the ages 15 to 29 years old. (Eurostat statistic)

    ·         Every 12 minutes, one person dies because of a car accident. (US statistic)

    3.    Being Orphaned

Children will be orphans when their parents die due to transportation accidents. This condition may affect children suffer from malnutrition and lack of education.

We prevent those all conditions using …

Brainstat is an application to monitor the condition of driver of any transportation services from brain waves activity. Brainstat will monitor the level of physical condition, focus, sleepiness, concentration, awareness and stress. Brainstat will provide an early warning for the driver, and also passengers if the driver condition could probably encounter a problem during the trip. This is done to prevent the occurrence of an accident due to human error. For example, if a driver drowsiness, loss of concentration, and consciousness slowly, the Brainstat will provide notification to the driver and passengers, so Brainstat can remind the driver to prevent an accident. Brainstat works by reading brain waves of humans because the brain is the center of all activities that occur within the human body so described the overall human condition. Brain waves would never lie.

Brainstat, accident prevention, is the first tool that works by utilizing the human brain. Other accident prevention tools today, generally work by using cameras to read the driver condition from his face. Often the condition of the face can be manipulated so affect the outcome. In addition to functioning as a means to prevent accidents, Brainstat also serves to record the statistical conditions of the rider while driving (function like Black Box in the Airplane). Data recorded by Brainstat during the trip will be sent into the cloud system of Brainstat to be mapped. This mapped data will form the map of national statistics driver conditions. These statistics serve to be the evaluation materials to prevent future accidents.
