S01E02 - Before Hello World
Before we go into the serious stuff, Let us tell you guys on how we all gathered as a team. We think this part of the story is the most important one beside our app or solution. Every great idea starts small, every great leader start alone, as we are. Our team members, Puja, Aloy, Kaisar, and Andru have had a great time in other local competition, but that's a different story. Let me start a little back, a year ago. Puja ,Andru and Tito (our mentor) were from "DARAH BIRU" team in Imagine Cup 2009. Their solution was "Vena". They made it into semi-final with it. Aloy and Kaisar were from "AETHER" team in Imagine Cup 2009 but didn't make it anywhere :)
As every informatics students dream, every one of us wanted to try again in Imagine Cup 2010, but we didn't have any great ideas, well, there were some ideas, but not that cool. We thought of making an app for education solution. We planned to go with it, but it was until Puja came up with a very nice idea (we will post it, don't worry :P). We discussed about it, think of every bad way that it would not be good for our solution, but the more we try to find the downside, the more we loved it. So, we decided to go with that solution, and named it Mosaic.
We were inspired with the name Mosaic because it sounds cool, little pieces, fragments, gathered together to bring up a whole new meaning. But, there was another meaning to Mosaic name, Mosaic was also the name of a very great and useful website in Flash Forward TV serials. Hohoho, you guys should go and check it out. The serial is wicked awesome!
